Ming Artisan,a contemporary light luxury brand by Imperial Patisserie,is led by Master Chef Yip Wing Wah, the founder of The Peninsula Hotel’s custard mooncakes. It selects the finest ingredients from around the world, pairs them with elegant designs, and adheres to 100% Hong Kong manufacturing. By integrating localized product innovation, it is dedicated to creating high-quality Hong Kong pastry gifts for customers worldwide. Since opening its first direct-operated store in the Lujiazui Center in Shanghai in 2024, it now has over seven direct-operated stores in the Chinese mainland.

Awards

The confectionary of Ming Artisan are manufactured by Imperial Enterprises Holdings Limited. Our pastries are 100% made in Hong Kong. Our Factory has obtained the ISO 22000:2018, HACCP and GMP certifications. Also, we have obtained the Halal certification, which verifies that our products meet the Halal standard and do not contain pork, lard, or any of their processed ingredients. We have undergone strict approval and supervision by relevant certification agencies to ensure that our food ingredients, production processes, packaging, and storage meet the required specifications, food quality and hygiene standards.

The World Food Quality Awards, known as the “Nobel Prize of the food industry”, is a world-authoritative award on par with the Michelin Guide. The award was established in 1961 and is the world’s oldest international quality research institution. It was jointly founded by the European Community and the Ministry of Economy and Trade of Belgium, and its headquarters is located in Belgium. Since its establishment, the award has been strictly evaluated annually by over 80 internationally renowned experts on food products from all over the world. Only products with a final total score of over 90% can win the top gold award. Since 2019, Huangyue’s runny heart mooncakes have won the “Top Gold Award” of the “Monde Selection” for seven consecutive years, making it the first runny heart mooncake in Hong Kong to receive this honor.

The A.A. Taste Awards, a global pure flavor evaluation award, is one of the world’s four major food awards, aiming to recognize foods that use few or even eliminate all artificial food additives. Its headquarters is located in the Netherlands, and the judging panel consists of hundreds of professional judges from over 80 countries. It includes members of international evaluation institutions, professional chefs, nutritionists, scholars, food critics, and even Michelin-starred chefs.Imperial Patisserie has always attached great importance to the original flavor of ingredients, adhering to the use of natural and high-quality ingredients, and is committed to making various high-quality pastries. Since its first participation in the competition in 2022, Imperial Patisserie has won the highest-level three-star award for three consecutive years, and its food quality and health mission have been certified by the international food industry.

–THE FOUNDER OF EGG CUSTARD MOONCAKE

We have collaborated with Master Chef Yip Wing Wah who has been in the business for over 50 years. He served as the head chef of The Peninsula Hong Kong’s restaurant Spring Moon Dim Sum Department for over 30 years, and with over 50 years of experience in the culinary field. He is the founder of Egg Custard Mooncake, as known as “the father of the Egg Custard Mooncake”, aiming to innovate our pastry collection with prevision and delicacy.

–MICHELIN TWO-STAR CAKE AND PASTRY’S MASTER

Master Lai served as the head chef of the Shanghai Peninsula Hotel Dim Sum Department for more than 10 years. He served as the head chef at star-rated hotels around the world. During his tenure in The Peninsula Bangkok, he created the popular Durian Mooncakes, which brought up a mooncake fever in Bangkok. He continues to pursue creative refinement of pastries.
